Burlesque for Beginners Workshop

Ever wanted to give Burlesque a go? 

Or just started your Burlesque Journey and want to learn more?

Well now you can with this Burlesque for Beginners Workshop

Let us invite you into our world of beauty, self love, empowerment, sass and tease.

Let us take you through the basic priciples of Burlesque, walking, posing, core basic burlesque moves, prop play (gloves, stockings, boa & chairs), how to work with an audience and get your sass on and just have a real let your hair down laugh, followed by a short routine putting it all together at the end.

This event is intended for those who are new to Burlesque OR are at the beginning of their journey and want to learn more.

The bar will be open at the venue as well for those who need a bit of Dutch courage, haha!

7.45 pm start – meet in the Bar, which will be open all evening.

A sense of humour, long gloves & hold ups are required and Burlesque inspired outfits are actively encouraged but not essential.

Location is:

Old Gravesendians Rugby Club , 8 Bronte View , Gravesend , DA12 1PX - lots of free parking on site

We are going to:

• Talk Burlesque
• Walk Burlesque
• Seduce Burlesque 
• Play with Burlesque Props 
• Then Dance Burlesque

What do you need to wear?

• Well we encourage you to go as full on Burlesque as you fancy BUT
• You will need some long gloves
• Some detachable stockings or hold ups 
• Heels are recommended but not essential
• Hat & boas are optional as part of your costume

£20 + booking fee of 50p for non members - Members get 25% off ticket price
